We were presented with a unique challenge for the NSWDPIRD Seed Vault and Growth Rooms Envirographics project: To create artwork that was scientifically accurate, rooted in peer-reviewed research on the history and science of growing wheat and rice, yet evocative enough to captivate senior executives, policy-makers, visiting ministers, and the broader public.

Over 5,000m² of envirographics were designed using biophilic design principles and contemporary neuroaesthetics research by artist, Rach Viski. The work resists polish in favour of responsiveness, prioritising emotional honesty and adaptability over visual perfection.

The Digital Agrifood Summit (DAS) is a flagship event bringing together leaders in agriculture, food systems, and technology. For the 2024 edition, the event organisers commissioned large-format animated screen content to set the visual tone of the summit.
